Vance Courtney and Joshua Thompson
Owners
Vance Courtney
Co-Owner
Vance is a military veteran with over 20 years of experience in IT, systems, and security within the government sector. He built and led elite teams to tackle complex problems with precision and excellence.
As the founder of SOS Home Offers, Vance applies that same discipline and strategic thinking to real estate. He builds systems that drive clarity, consistency, and results. His true passion lies in developing people—creating an environment where his team can lead, grow, and thrive.
Fun Fact: Vance is a board game enthusiast. He loves diving into long strategy sessions with friends and family.
Joshua
Thompson
Co-Owner and Acquisitions
Joshua has been in the real estate industry for 15 years. This started in small jobs regarding rental properties and house flips. He then advanced to an associate property manager role, overseeing a portfolio of 25 rentals.
Later, his journey with SOS Home Offers would begin as an assistant, where he quickly learned the ins and outs of the company, and all departments. Within a year, he transitioned into a full-time acquisitions agent, helping homeowners sell their properties.
Today, Joshua is partner and co-owner; leading the acquisitions team and managing the day-to-day operations.
Fun Fact: Outside of real estate, Joshua serves as a Youth Pastor and has always been deeply involved in ministry, music, sports, martial arts, and family.
Jess Mullikin
Dispositions Manager
Spent 15 years in the wild world of B2B sales in telecommunications, honing the fine art of dodging dropped calls and closing deals. Bitten by the real estate bug in 2016, she jumped headfirst into the industry as a landlord. Since then she has lived and breathed in all things real estate from managing LT/ST rental portfolios for investors in Atlanta and Florida, navigating the chaos of new commercial construction builds, and of course, handling REI property dispositions like a pro!
Today, Jess manages our Dispositions Department
Fun Fact: When not conquering the real estate jungle, you can find her Kayaking, Backpacking, Cycling, and generally avoiding the indoors as much as possible!
Hasmin Sultan
Marketing
Hasmin was in the IT world before jumping into teaching international students online. She had the experience of handling accounts in a telecommunication company based in the US.
Hasmin transitioned to Admin and then Marketing roles at SOS Home Offers. She works mainly in the background, but she gets to interact with clients through our social media and our Google business profiles.
Fun Fact: She enjoys learning new languages, watching series from across the world, getting along with people from different backgrounds, and reading books. She likes traveling and loves gazing at the moon, stars, sunrise and sunset, especially at the beach. A big fan of BLACKPINK, especially Jennie.
JP Barcenas
TC and Admin
JP has 8 years of experience as an Admin for BPO companies.
He is currently taking on the IT role for SOS.
Fun Fact: He is an introvert who enjoys binge-watching TV series and playing online games on his days off and he absolutely loves fried chicken.
Arnoldo Maldonado
Driver
For 20 plus years, he worked in commercial and residential construction. He worked his way up to foreman then supervisor and was in charge of 50 to 60 men. Also, he has 30 plus years as a licensed life and health insurance agent. He worked his way up to sales manager with 6 agents under him. He also qualified for President’s Club.
Presently, he is working as a driver as part of the marketing team.
Fun Fact: He Ioves playing his congas as part of the worship team at his church and recently started a hobby as a bladesmith. He loves his forge and making knives.
Cliff Townsend
Acquisitions Specialist
Cliff Townsend is a seasoned real estate professional with a diverse background in the industry. As a former licensed Realtor and licensed loan originator, he has extensive experience navigating both the buying and financing sides of real estate transactions.
Today, Cliff applies his expertise as an Acquisition Specialist with SOS Home Offers, where he helps homeowners find stress-free solutions for selling their properties quickly and efficiently.
Fun Fact: Beyond his real estate career, Cliff has a knack for entertaining. He once entered a month-long stand-up comedy competition—competing against professional comedians—and won! His quick wit and charismatic personality make him not only a trusted real estate expert but also someone who can turn any situation into a memorable experience.
Thaddeaus
Swint
Acquisitions Specialist
Thadd’s professional journey is marked by a diverse background, including six years of service in the United States Air Force and several years living in Colombia. His lifelong interest in buying and selling, spanning 37 years, has equipped him with a strong foundation in strategic acquisition.
Currently, as an Acquisitions Specialist, he leverages this experience to identify and secure valuable opportunities for our company.
Fun fact: Thadd’s favorite saying is “apuestos claros y con tiempo,” reflecting his belief in clear agreements and timely execution. He also enjoys collecting words and phrases from different languages and is a big fan of Asian literature, particularly the philosophy of continuous self-improvement, exemplified by his belief that “to reach the apex, one must never stop self-improvement.”
Chandler Woodward
Dispositions Assistant
Chandler has spent several years working in the parts department at BMW and in customer service at Recteq. Through these experiences, he has developed strong skills in serving others, problem-solving, and understanding the importance of teamwork.
He currently works as a Disposition Assistant for SOS Home Offers.
Fun Fact: In his spare time, Chandler enjoys improving his chess skills and spending Saturday and Sunday afternoons watching the latest races and football games with his grandpa & girlfriend.
Stefanie Roper
Transactions Coordinator
With a strong background in client service and education, Stefanie brings a unique skill set to Real Estate. Before stepping into the world of transactions, she spent 14 years in the beauty industry — first behind the chair, building a loyal clientele, and later as an educator, where she trained future professionals and collaborated with teams across the country.
Now, as a Transaction Coordinator, Stefanie ensures every deal moves seamlessly from contract to close. A natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail, she thrives in high-pressure situations — whether resolving complex legal matters or ensuring a smooth, stress-free closing process. Her ability to connect with people and navigate challenges with precision makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
Fun fact: When she’s not keeping transactions on track, Stefanie enjoys spending time at the beach with her son and their sweet dog, embracing the sun, sand, and sea.
